Eco-Fashion Boutique Revive Celebrates Fifth Anniversary
Join festivities on Saturday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Cleveland Heights, Ohio (November 2nd, 2011) – Revive, Northeast Ohio's first fair trade clothing boutique, is excited to celebrate its fifth anniversary on November 5. To celebrate five exciting years in business, Revive will offer mystery discounts containing the number 5. Customers will also have a chance to enter a raffle for fair trade goods.
Revive Founder and Owner Lisa Dunn said, "I am excited to share Revive's fifth anniversary with our patrons. We are celebrating our mission-driven social enterprise. We care about the artisans creating our products and the source of their materials. The artisans with whom we work are paid a fair, living wage. In addition, Revive provides them with an opportunity to access a wider market for their handcrafted goods, helping them gain economic independence."
Revive carries eco-fashion for children, women, men, and products for the home. The handcrafted pieces come from more than 30 countries and are made of various sustainable materials, such as organic cotton and hemp, vegetables dyes, recycled glass and magazines, shells and seeds.
Dunn continues to travel the world regularly, building bridges between artisans from around the globe and Revive's patrons. On her recent trip to South Africa, she connected with fair trade clothier Township Patterns located in Cape Town. Revive now offers designs from Township Patterns' latest collection. Township Patterns has been featured in fashion magazines Elle and Marie Claire.
"On November 5, we are celebrating the creativity, resourcefulness, and vibrancy of the artisans with whom we work, our patrons and Revive's hard-working team," Dunn said.
Revive has a boutique on Lee Road and one at Legacy Village. While shopping, patrons can discover the fair trade story behind each piece and learn how their purchase makes a difference.
Revive is known for offering beautiful handmade and sustainable collections which are all sourced ethically. All of the items sold at Revive are fair trade, meaning that the men and women who craft them receive a fair, living wage, helping to break the cycle of poverty, and preserve traditional craft making skills.
